CD Project Red has announced a new chapter of the Witcher saga. But it will take a while until the release.

CD Project Red has officially confirmed that the "The Witcher" series is worked on a fourth part of the "The Witcher" series, after the first notes have already appeared last year. However, there is hardly any details about the role-playing game itself. The Polish developer has only published a first snowy teaser image with a witcher medallion and the Claim "a new saga" begins. Whether this means that a large part of the Open World game plays in wintry areas is not known. At least, however, everything indicates that Geralt of Riva does not take over the main role this time and instead draws a new character to the center. Finally, the medallion is not the wolf trailer of the protagonist of books and previous games.

In contrast to previous developments, CD project Red at the next "The Witcher" adventure does not focus on the in-house REDEGINE. It was chosen for the Unreal Engine 5 and Epic Games won as a technology partner. With the specially built basic framework still still worked, after all, extensions for cyberpunk 2077 should be released.

When the upcoming offshoot appears from The Witcher is not fixed yet. But a few years it will certainly take.
