Halo Infinite: How to change the level of difficulty of the campaign

Simple, normal, heroic, legendary. These are the four levels of difficulty on which you can approach the Halo Infinite campaign. In particular, the last two can be real challenges, because the opponents are much tougher and the Master Chief can plug in much less.

Who notes that the currently set difficulty does not fit — so either too light or too heavy — also has an option in Halo Infinite, to customize it. However, this setting option is not immediately apparent.

Setting is there, but has hidden

Because if you have started the campaign first, there is no corresponding entry in the options' menu, which adjusts the difficulty immediately. But that's no reason to worry, because the adjustment possibility has hidden elsewhere. This is how the whole works:

Selects the campaign in the main menu of the game. Then go to Load Game. Selects the appropriate score for which you want to change the difficulty. Selects the desired degree of hardness under difficulty.

If you then go to play, the score invites you to the new selected difficulty, which is then set as standard. So you do not need to repeat this process with each restart, but can simply click on Continue in the main menu in a subsequent session.
